Wrapping it up:
This is the $5/year OVZ VPS from Hostslick, that I had subscribed to back in June. Given the issues I encountered with it early in the year, I was considering cancelling this VPS. In February 2020, I had cancelled the $4 IPV6 only VPS from them. But having run these tests, I am considering keeping this VPS for another year. At the price I got it for- cannot really complain!
Update February 2022: I will be continuing with this VPS plan till mid- 2023.
