About Allwyn

Allwyn Pais is Proprietor of Amit Book Corporation, Mumbai, started his carrier as a Sales Rep. at Rupa and Company in 1987 and finally moved on to become the Manager of the Branch. Between 2001 and 2003, he was instrumental in opening branches in Bangalore, Delhi and Kolkatta, besides running his branch in Mumbai for Mr. S.K. Mehra. He single-handedly looked after the entire India operation and was responsible for an annual business turnover of over Rs. 60 crore plus. Now in his 30th year in the book industry, Allwyn has worked with practically all foreign general publishers like Penguin, Random House, Harper Collins, Hachette, Simon and Schuster, Pan Macmillan and Indian publishers like Tata Mcgraw Hill (TMH), Prentice hall of India (PHI), Westland, Embassy, Om Books, Research Press, Diamond, and others.
